Post Mortem 3: The jam results are out


Last night 1am CEST, Synty Studios announced the winner of the #SYNTYGameJam. Here's the recording of the live stream.  The Clipper Kids didn't make it into the top 6. But to be fair, the majority of the entries was very well made and impressive for only three weeks time, so I was aware the competition would be really hard to beat.

It was my first jam ever and I really enjoyed the atmosphere in the dedicated game jam channel on Synty Studios' Discord, with everyone hustling and showing off their milestones (and their failures) as the games progressed.

So what's next for The Clipper Kids? I did some bugfixes in the meantime and will upload a new version shortly. I have some new features and improvements planned, too, like controller support, sound effects, and potentially some whole new game elements like distractible staff or an inventory.
